I added a package of eight popular custom maps to the public server. Enjoy.
-Maps with a (*) will be added to the voting list. Meaning, that map may randomly appear in the voting list that appears prior to the current map being changed to the one voted for. -Maps with no (*) will require an admin to put up a vote for that particular map to wait and see if the majority of the servers population votes to play on that particular map.
Your 8th ID tags need to be in tact on your STEAM ALIAS 24/7 as long as you are in this unit. This goes for everyone, no exceptions. Playing other games is of course, FINE. Joining a group that requires you to change your steam alias is prohibited. If you would like to join other DOD:S clans/teams, i am afraid you have some choosing to do. The only exception to this rule remains the competitive league team (DJS/FRBK) since it is affiliated and does advertising for the 8th Infantry Division. I started out nice....I let a few people that came to me have the privilege of changing their alias, but that privilege has turned out to become abused by those i trusted..
Come on, guys. We have a 50 slot ventrilo, use it. If it's just going to sit around sitting at zero people it's better off elsewhere.
It is very important that ALLNON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERSIDLE vent when possible. If you are in this unit, vent needs to be idled just as you would idle steam. If the poor vent participation continues, i am going to have to start handing out demerits to those that refuse to idle the ventrilo when they can. If you can idle steam, don't tell me that you can't idle ventrilo just as much as you would idle steam.
